She made her debut in 2006 with her first single Outside Looking In, then in 2007 with Jump To The Rhythm. Her debut album (No Ordinary Girl) debuted at #42 on the Billboard Hot 100. She then proceeded to go on tour with the High School Musical cast and then the Jonas Brothers! In 2008 she returned with her second studio album, Permission To Fly, and its first single, One Love, went up to #3 on Radio Disney and its second, My Shoes, made it into the top 15. Now she's gone on several tours, including Six Flags and the Tour of Gymnastic Superstars. Her third studio album is said to be released this spring, and its debut single Don't Lose Yourself (written by the Jonas Brothers) has been released acoustically on her YouTube channel. Not only that, but she was named Parade Magazine's Parent's Choice Rolemodel of the Year 2009 and is said to be 'a star to watch in 2010'. With a new album and headlining tour coming this year, Always Jordan is the place to be for all the latest Jordan Pruitt news.

Jordan Defends Taylor Swift

Kanye West made a complete fool of himself at the 2009 MTV VMA Awards on Sunday night. Taylor Swift won Female Video of the Year for 'You Belong With Me'. When she went on stage to accept her award, KWest stepped on stage, took the mic from her, and dissed her saying that Beyonce deserved the award. Jordan defended Taylor on her official Twitter account, saying "Team Taylor!!!!! We Love you Taylor! Kanye West needs to learn some Manners!! And wait his turn." Way to go, Jordan!

Earlier in the day, she also tweeted saying,

Live Every Moment Like It's Your Last

Jordan posted a new MySpace blog. She talks about The Best Of Me, a new song she just wrote!!

Hey Guys!
I'm just at my house right now :) And I wrote one of the best songs I've ever written last night :) It's called The Best of Me. I can't wait for you guys to hear it. I think in the past few months, I've grown up a lot. Everything doesn't always turn out the way you want it to. And we have to go through things that aren't always easy. But through those struggles and hard times, I've become the person that I am today. I'm wiser and stronger than I used to be. And I feel like my life is in such a good place right now. I'm so excited for the future! And can't wait to make some new music! :)


And I'm trying to raise money for a charity called the Memory Walk. It is a national walk that is held to help find a cure for Alzheimer's disease. If you want to donate money, here is the link! :) My goal is to raise 500 dollars ! Thank YOU :)

Hey Guys!
I'm at home right now! I actually have a little time off here, but I'm definitely still hard at work! I'm going back into the studio soon and writing and recording some more new stuff. I'm really excited to record again :) The studio is what I call my second home haha! Anyways, I've been spending loads of time with my family and best friends. I went to a high school football game last Friday, because all of my close friends are Seniors in high school! It's nice to just relax when I'm home! And I'm also going to LA soon for an event I'm singing at! Super stoked, and I even get to bring one of my best friends! I love performing with my band, and we have so much fun touring together :) Life is so good right now. Definitely feels really balanced, and I totally trust what God has planned not only for my career, but for my life :) I love you guys!!!

Jordan posted a new MySpace blog about Memory Walk, an organization raising money for a cure for Alzheimer's Disease. I know a couple people who have/had this disease, so it's really cool to know that Jordan cares. Read her blog about it:

Hey Everyone! Let me just say the tour was the best time of my life!! Thank you to everyone that came!! While on tour I found out about this charity called the Memory Walk. It is a national walk that is held to help find a cure for Alzheimer's disease. I know that many of you probably have some relatives affected by Alzheimer’s disease. I really want everyone to get involved in raising money for this AWESOME organization!!! Check out this link to find out how you can give. Any donation is greatly appreciated!!
